Da ich in Englisch bald ein Referat halten muss habe ich mir jetzt einen Begleittext erstellt aber da mein Englisch nicht wirklich so toll ist bin ich mir mit dem Text nicht sicher, ob alles Grammatikalisch richtig ist. Kann das mal jemand durchlesen und es verbessern?
Das wäre für mich sehr hilfreich.

Today I want to tell you something about” Walt Disney”.
I think you have already seen one or several of Disney’s movies.
But first of all, who was “Walt Disney”?
Walter Elias Disney was the inventor of the company Walt Disney.
He was born on December 5, 1901 in Chicago, Illinois.
He grew up with his parents and his 5 siblings on a farm in Missouri. Every child had to help on the farm but Walt always knew that he wanted to be an artist. He sold his sketches to his neighbors to earn spending money.
So he had studied art design and photography at McKinley High School. But his father didn’t approve of his dream.
In 1917 the Disney family had to move back to Chicago because Walt’s father had grown quite ill.
With 16 years he left the school hoping to fight in World War one. But he was too young to enlist.
So he joined the Red Cross and went to France as an ambulance driver. When he returned from his trip the Disney family moved back to Kansas.
In Kansas he decided to start his career in commercial art and he met the commercial artist Ub Iwerks.
Together they started an animation company and the Named of the animation company was: Laugh-O-Grams.
Sadly their animation company became bankrupt.
In 1923 Walt moved to Hollywood, he and his brother Roy decided to start a new business.
They opened the business in their Uncle’s garage they began to producing short animated films.
After Walt’s Business started to flourish, they were able to buy a shop in the back of a real estate office and they hire a crew of talented artists to help and assist Walt in making animated productions.
In 1925 on July 13th Walt married one of his first employees her names was Lilian Bound. They had two daughters together.
Walt’s business was staring to become very popular, and after his first success Disney went to Los Angeles and he stopped drawing.
His friend and co worker Ub Iwerks became the Art Director at this moment and did you know that Ub Iwerks invented Micky Mouse? I didn’t. But the Honorary Award for inventing of Mickey Mouse was given to Walt. I think that was very unfair.
Walt’s next plan was to create sound and music effects for his pictures. So, in November 1928, he presented the premiere of Steamboat Willie in New York and Minnie Mouse had her first performance.
More of Disney’s fantastic characters are Donald Duck, Goofy, Pluto, Daisy Duck and the three little Pigs.
The great classics of Disney movies are Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, Fantasia, Dumbo and Bambi.
In 1964 the most-successful Disney Movie appeared- Marry Poppins. It was honored with 5 Oscars.
Walt Disney opened in 1955 a special park, yes the Disneyland resort.
Walt and the company, which was now named The Walt Disney Company, expanded their work into television world a few years later. The Program was called the wonderful world of color.
Walt passed away on 15th December 1966 due to lung cancer.
Roy his brother continued out the business, and the company is still run today by the Disney family.
Now I have told you something about Walt Disney, his animated cartoons and his movie successes.
