Stimmt, ins Deutsche übersetzt ergibt der Satz wirklich keinen Sinn. Ich würde es jetzt so schreiben "...but nobody heard me".
Was ist richtig "to phone the ambulance" or "to call the ambulance"?

Ich soll einem Bekannten von meinem Unfall berichten. Kann ich den Bericht so schreiben?
I had an accident last week but I can’t remember what really happened.
I was on my way home after a meeting with my boss last Thursday. The weather was bad this evening. It was cold, rainy and stormy.
I drove along the track than suddenly something came from the right side and crossed the street. I couldn’t see what it was. It was too fast.
I tried to put the brake but I couldn’t slow down my car. I think through the rain the road was a bit icy.
Luckily there was a small street on the right side. That seemed like a good way to get slower and then I turned right into the street. Luckily I was able to stop my car. I got out of my car and in the the next moment I was on my back on the ground. I wasn’t able to get up.
I looked after my mobile phone but I couldn’t find it anywhere. I shouted but nobody couldn’t hear me. After an hour a car stopped and the woman phoned the ambulance.

1. My parents are coming (come) to England.
2. Well, they are arriving (arrive) on Friday and are staying (stay) until Wednesday. They booked the tickets month ago.
3. Yes, they are flying (fly) to London so we will spend (spend) the weekend there in a hotel.
4. We are coming (come) back here on Sunday evening. Michael will cook (cook) a special meal.
