wir schreiben bald in der 9.Klasse eine Englischarbeit zum Thema ,,Argumentaive Writing".
Ich habe hier mal einen Text verfasst:
Young Mayor
I have read in the newspaper about a young mayor living in Roland City.
Now arises the question: Is a young person able to be a mayor ?
Some People say that a young mayor has no experience, so he can fall wrong decisions.
Or a young mayor is not confident.
For example when a young mayor is too nervous presenting new solutions for city problems.
This nervousness shows the audience that he has weaknesses, but ay mayour should not have it.
On the other hand a young mayor can be very dynamic, because young people are often mor flexibler than older people.
He can work very hard, so the population profit from him.
Knowing the interests from younger people, a young mayor make decisions for the teenagers.
For example the city council do not know if they should build a museum or skater park, the young mayor intercede (sich einsetzen) for building the skater park.
To put it all in a nutshell, i cannot decide me me between a young or old mayor.
Both age-classes have disadvantages and advantages.
I only want to give you a help for your decision.
