Everything always has two sides: the positive and negative one. And so does living in a city or living in the countryside.
Many people move to a city for job. A big city usually offers more jobs than the countryside does. In the countryside, most people do farming which is seasonal.
In addition to job offering, people who live in a big city also enjoy more convenient services of trade, health, and entertainment than those in the countryside. In THE countryside, people have to cover long distances to get basic things from local market which is poor in products. In contrast people from the city side are able to choose products from a supermarket not far away from their homes.
However, big cities don’t just have good sides. In many cities people have to live with the pollution generated by coaches, cars, taxis… Another problem is the traffic jam.
It is not only a waste of time but also harmful for health. While you are moving slowly meter by meter, you have to breathe the smoke generated by the cars around you.Whereas, people living in the country side gain a better living environment. The air is clean and their life is active. The biggest bonus of living in the country side has got to be for kids. They can spend much more time outdoors than in the city. They can play in the garden, which includes woodland and plenty of space for them. The attitude to education is also healthier than in the city.
Another thing which also belongs to the good living environment in the countryside is the good relationship between people. While urban people sometimes do not know the name of the next door neighbour, rural people share their lives in many aspects
