Ich habe als Hausaufgabe ein summary über die sog. "Millennial Generation" aufbekommen. Nun gut noch nie gemacht und nen verdammt schlechtes Englisch. Deshalb bitte ich um Verbesserungsvorschläge.
In the article "Young, confident and self-centred", written in year 1988, based on a report in The Times, a recent survey of 648 British 16- to 21 - year olds, tells about the generation, called Millennial Generation, and their imagination of life.
The young people of the Millennial Generation are born in a financial security. They're not afraid to taking risks to reach success. Most of the people are confident that their career goal is to be a millionaire. Much of them wants their own business and more wants to work in finance or business than any other sectors. The new generation is really brand-conscious and to wearing the right labels. Their incomes is still small, but they are happy to pay high prices for top brands. Their recreation consists of clubbing and drink alcohol. Smoking will from the young people as fashionable respected. They are tolerant with homosexuality and sex and violence in films. But the new generation has traditional attitudes too. The people wants to marry and to have children. They respect doctors, teachers and police officers. They have little beliefs in politics. Many of the people are not confident to their government.
