Muss für Englisch ein Referat machen, über Panzer. Ich muss ein Handout abgeben (natürlich in Englisch) und wollt mal fragen, ob ihr so nett wärt und kontrollieren würdet, ob ich alles richtig geschrieben habe (Zeiten). Und geil wäre es auch noch, wenn euch vlt noch etwas zu den verschiedenen Panzern einfallen würde. Achja das Referat soll nicht länger als 5 Minuten dauern. (Bereits im Off-Topic Bereich gepostet nur schreibt da niemand mehr was, weil der Thread bereits ziemlich weit unten ist).
AV7-Wotan
After the first mission of the Britain tanks “Mark I” in September 1916, the German government decided to build tanks too. The Prussian Minister of War founded the first tank of the German Army, which was called A7V-Wotan. The Wotan was built in January 1917 and only 20 tanks were used during the War. This tank hadn´t any influences on the war because of the low number. 16 persons could work in a Wo-tan the most of them were gunners.
Panther
The Panther tank was built in 1942. After the attack at the soviets the Germans needed to have a tank, which had a very high range. So the company´s MAN and Daimler-Benz researched on it. Hitler decided to take the MAN type, because this type had a better canon. Till 1945, was built over 6000 Panther tanks. One Panther cost without weapons and optics over 100.000 Reichsmark. After the war was the Panther, awarding as the best medium tank in the war. Furthermore was the Panther the most important tank for the Germans from 1941, because he could use in all areas.
Tiger
The Tiger tank was also built in 1942. Hitler was looking for a heavy tank for his blitzkrieg. Till 1945 was built over 1350 Tiger tanks. Henschel and Porsche built this tanks as an prototype in 1941,but Hitler decided to use the Henschel type, because this type had more firepower. Per month was produced 140 pieces and some smaller models had become to Sturmtiger, which was used as an artillery. One Tiger cost 1 million Reichsmark included weapons. At first his canon was an anti-air weapon and it had a little Machine Gun. In a Tiger tank was 5 persons, who work in it, from which one person was a driver and two persons were gunners. At that time was the Tiger tank the best tank in the world, which weighs close 60 tons, alone the canon weighs 40 tons. A Tiger did shoot 3 km.
Leopard 2
The Leopard 2 tank was built by the USA and Germany. In 1970 both states searched of an optimal tank, which can shoot in movement for example. In the USA was founded the M1 Abrams and in Ger-many the Leopard 2. The Leopard 2 tank has NBC-guard and phosphor thrower, which have the sense to do guard of air-raids. Furthermore is this tank an amphibian tank, that means the tank can drive un-der-water. Since 1970 have been built over 2000 Leopard 2 tanks. A Leopard 2 tank has 4 persons who work in it. This tank is the best in the world, because of the very high range and his movement in fire. One Leopard 2 costs 3 million euros included weapons. This tank weighs 60 tons and can shoot 4 km.
Marder
The subject of the Marder tank was to build an equal tank like the Leopard 1 and to support infantry. This tank has been built since 1971 and there are over 1000 in use. 6 persons works in one Marder, from which one person is a driver and 5 persons who are gunners. A Marder weighs just 40 tons, that makes him very fast and it has a range of 500 km. A Marder can drive till 65 km/h .
