Inhaltsangabe?

    Hallo erstmal...
    Heute hatten wir eine Inhaltsangabe in Englisch aus über die Kurzgeschichte "Old man at the bridge" da ich leider richtig schlecht in Englisch bin wollt ich fragen ob ihr mir Tipps und Verbesserungsvorschläge für den Text geben könntet:

    The short-story "Old man at the bridge" written by Ernest Hemingway play in the spanish-civil-war.
    It is about the evacuation by San Carlos.
    An old man sit before a ranton bridge an can't go farther because he is too tired.
    A soldier goes to the old man ant talk with him over his native city and his animals.
    The soldier try to keep him away from this place but the old man has give up.


    Wäre das so in Ordnung?? Oder muss man da nochw as ändern?

    The short-story "Old man at the bridge" written by Ernest Hemingway plays in the Spanish Civil War ( Bin mir hier nicht ganz sicher wie man das genau schreibt, aber ziemlich sicher groß und ohne Bindestriche ).
    It is about the evacuation of San Carlos.
    An old man sits in front of a ranton bridge and can't go further because he is too tired.
    A soldier goes to the old man and talks to him about his native city and his animals.
    The soldier tries to convince him to leave this place but the old man has given up.

    Du musst besonders auf das "S" hinter dem Verb in der 3. Pers. Singular achten. Ich hofffe ich habe nichts übersehen.
