Ich habe einen Text bekommen:
the outer part of the ear at the side of the head is known as the pinna. leading inward from the pinna is the outer ear passage. at the inner end of this passage is the ear drum, a tightly stretched membrane lying right across the passage. When sound reaches the ear it travels down the outer ear and causes the ear drum to vibrate. these vibrations are transmitted to three small bones immediately inside the drum. one of these bones vibrates against another membrane in the wall of the inner ear. from here messages about these vibrations are sent to the brain along the auditory nerve. another part of the inner ear sends messages to the brain about the position of the body, and thus ensures correct balance while the body is standing or walking.
