Now at in der zweiten Zeile wegstreichen.
In der 6. Zeile hast du dich wiederholt. Besser: I want to tell you something about the town landmark by Dubai,now.
8.Zeile The Construction.

Sonst gutes Referat.

In der 16. Zeile fehlt die passende EInheit. Du schreibst über 8000 Blattgold hast aber vergessen dazuzuschreiben ob das m² oder kg oder keine Ahnung was sind. Ansonsten ist mir kein schnitzer aufgefallen.

Freue dich über das positive Echo! Die beiden haben zwar keine Ahnung von Englisch , nevertheless. Es wimmelt nur so vor "nickeligen" Fehlern: falsche Präpositionen, falsche Satzstellung!

Ich habe ja geschrieben,dass das Referat gut ist. Solche Fehler haben aber bei mir schon mal eine Note ausgemacht,deswegen achte ich jetzt besonders darauf.

My topic today is the wonderful luxury hotel Burj Al Arab in Dubai.
Now at first I will tell you something about the emirate of Dubai and about the city of Dubai.
Dubai is one of the seven emirates on the Arabian Peninsula at the Persian Gulf.
The city of Dubai lies on the northern edge of the emirate of Dubai.[---} it´s divided by the Dubai creek into two districts, [---] Bur Dubai and Deira.
85% of the habitants of the emirate of Dubai live in the Dubai City, as the city is very important because of economic, political and sociological reasons Now I will tell you something about the town landmark of Dubai.
Burj Al Arab is one of the most luxurious and most expensive hotels in the world.
The construction of this great hotel began in 1994 and ended in 1999. The design of the tower is [---]the form of a sail. There is a heliport on the 28th floor[---] pointing to the land side and there is a prominent restaurant pointing to the sea side after another 200 metres. (ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob ich dich hier richtig verstanden habe)
The hotel is located on an artificial island. The original plan was to build the hotel directly at the coast and not on an artificial island, but that plan was rejected because the building would have cast too much shade onto the beach.
The architect of this building is Tom Wright. Tom Wright said "The client wanted a building that would become an iconic or symbolic statement for Dubai; this is very similar to Sydney with its Opera House, or Paris with the Eiffel Tower. It needed to be a building that would become synonymous with the name of the country.”The maximum hotel rating systems shows five stars, but Burj Al Arab was rated as a 7 star hotel by its customers.
Burj Al Arab has altogether 202 rooms. Its suites measure r between 169 and 780 square metres..
The wonderful hotel has got 60 levels, 18 elevators and 8 restaurants.

The building costs amounted to US $ 1, 5 Mrd.. The prices per night and person start at € 1900.

Here we see the restaurant in Burj Al Arab with a big aquarium and a lot of big fish. (Picture 5)
In this picture we see a lower floor. The lower floor has a living room with a dining table for four and a bar, a guest bathroom and a dressing room. The stairs go to the upper floor, where a king size bed stands, and a luxurious bathroom with Jacuzzi is located.
And in the last picture we can see the great beautiful hotel Burj Al Arab in Dubai
I think that the hotel is very charming, but too expensive.
