Language ist actually a living organism and it ever has been. There are different reasons to explain that fact.
The world changes everyday. Research an Innovations are increasing and as a result are creating new things like products and services. In a consequence, you have to name that things and the development of a language goes on.
A second reason is that the world is increasingly interconnected, which results in that fact, that languages are getting mixed. For example in Marketing it is just common to use English expressions for many circumstances.
A third reason is that it is just normal for the youth to develop an own kind of language. Young people just want to seperate themselves from the adults.
But in my opinion fixed grammar an spelling an rules of expression aren't obsolete an old-fashioned. Language rules are essential for communicating in daily life. Language is also something which you could be proud of and it identifies groups of people. As a result people should take care about their language and protect it.
