Cardiff castle stand in the heart of Cardiff and developed 1081 on the remains of a Roman fort. In the 19. century it became to renovate, convert to a housing area and furnish with floarlabyrinth, animal figures and oriental furnish room.
The Civil Center was build to the turn of the century between 19. century and 20. century and is hold in a neoclassicism style. One of the buildings put up the City Hall of Cardiff. Because of the optics specially the dome, the Civil Center is called "Washington of Wales". On the front of the City Hall there are three dragons fixed and a legend says, that Cardiff will never go down as long as the dragons does not leave there place.
The St. John's Church stand in the middle of a busy shopping mile of Cardiff. In the 12. century the foundation wall were build, but the church of today was build in 1473 as the center of the little village Cardiff. In the inside are beautiful mosaic windows which are partly 200 years old.
