do I understand you correctly, with "uneven...." is meant = die ungleiche Verteilung ...?well - there are disparencies everywhere - however at different times (seasons) and because of different reasons:
a. the tropical climate is characterized by humidity all over the year;
b. the further you go to the north (and partially to the south) the greater the differences between humidity and dry season will be:
so in the subtropical zones you have dry seasons and rainy seasons (monsoons in SE-Asia/India; rainy seasons in Africa); in North- and South Africa as well as in Arabia and in Australia you only find temporary rain -and: evaporation is alwys higher than precipitation so that you'll find deserts there.
c.The Mediterranean is characterized by rain in winter and drought in the summer;
d. whereas in the moderate and boreal climates of America and Europe you'll find rain all year round; here the effect of growing continentality from maritime climates at the coastlines in the west to a dry climates with great differences in the summer and winter temperatures in the east is predominant.ha.lo
