Moderator: Good evening Ladys and Gentlemans. Welcome to my talkshow. Today we talk about prejudices between Germans and Brits. My guests are Kai Müller from Germany and Rayn Smith from Great Britian. So let’s begin, Mr. Smith it’s your turn.
Mr.Smith: Thank you Sean. I think Germans take everything to seriously, they haven’t no sence of humour.
Kai Müller: In my opinion, Germans have humour. Brits however, are so cold and it’s very difficult to know them.
Mr.Smith: I disagree with you. We are only friendly, polite and really traditional. I must laugh, when I heard many Germans speaking in English. There accent sounds hard, they sounds unfriendly and they give always short answers!
Kai Müller: Yes, but on the other hand we can’t speak english so well, because we don’t grown up with the English language.
Mr.Smith: I don’t really think so. When one learns the language well, it’s no problem. I’ve always wanted to know if it’s true that the Germans always eat sauerkraut and drink beer? Is it really so tasty?
Kai Müller: Oh my good, I hate sauerkraut and I drunk beer only 1 or 2 times in a month. Many Germans hate sauerkraut, too. It’s really a stupid prejudice. And Brits, they drunk everytime tea, eat fish and chips!
Mr.Smith: I don’t like to admit it, but you're right. Although not all do, but most. The Germans are also not without. They think that they dress better. Isn’t that a little too superfical?
Kai Müller: Didn’t you though, that a grain of truth in that statement? Because I mean, look on me. My clothes are really fashionably. Your rags are of course very beautiful, but Germans have more style.
Mr.Smith: You mean sure where this style to wear white tennis socks with sandals? In this case, I'll give you quite right. The Germans have a good style.
Kai Müller: Yeah, am. So What do you think about hooligans?
I heard that the Brits are very big fanatic football fans. Is it true?
Mr.Smith: Yes, on one side but not everyone is a football fan.
My daugter love football but she isn’t a holligan. She is very shy and quite.
Moderator: Apologized for the interruption, but unfortunately the show is almost over. So to the end, Mr.Smith, Mr. Müller. Has changed the conversation about their opinion against the other, or perhaps even worse?
Mr.Smith: Well I would say on one hand, I now think differently about the Germans. But I think in every human being is always a prejudice.
Kai Müller: I think just like Mr.Smith and through this show I learned something for life.
Moderator: Thank you for this wonderful show and next week we talk about Paris Hilton, about her life and her pink dogs. Until next week.
