Unter dem Alias MC New York beginnt Tupac Lyrics und Gedichte zu schreiben und zu rappen. wurde eindeutig promt.de oder ein anderes online uebersetzungs programm benutzt und das ist kein gutes oder verstaendliches englisch. ich sag das nicht um gemein zu sein, einfach nur weil ich es schade faende wenn jemand in diese falle tappt und den text so abgibt/vortraegt.
(wenn man gut englisch kann koennte man das vieleicht als basis benutzen und dann sehr sehr viel umschreiben, aber dann koennte man ja auch einfach direkt auf englisch schreiben!)

No offence, but I think it's rather stupid Translate the text (by online translator) from German into English and then from English into German and likewise a few times more, and then you're going to find out how good the translator (I mean, any translator - I haven't met a good one so far) is ;P
It's stupid to translate texts this way, especially for school. It won't help you at all, and you'll just look like an idiot...

i think u'll find that that's what i just said (see earlier post)! i totally agree with u that u can't just use online translation programms. it's not stupid though, if you're not so good at english u may just not notice that it's bad english, that's why i was warning against using those websites.

true, they can sometimes help you understand texts (if they are not too complicated).

if you are doing a translation and you don't know some of the words and you don't have a good dictionary at home, online dictionaries can be helpful (such as leo). but you should be careful to choose the correct word from the list.

also i agree with joana, if you need something translated from english into german it is ok because, if german is your 1st language, your german is good enough to change the online translation so that it makes sense (or the other way around if your english is good enough of course). but it is not a good idea if your english is not good enough and you don't realise that some parts of the translation make no sense (like in the example above).

if it's for school you will only end up getting bad marks and we don't want that now, do we?!?!
