Reported Speech

Das ist schwer zu machen, wenn man die Aufgabenstellung nicht genau kennt.
Wenn nämlich die Zeit vor der direkten Rede in der Gegenwart ist, kann man einfach ganz normal sagen:
Ann says that her boss shouted at her today.
Wenn aber die Zeit vorher in der Vergangenheit ist, muss man ein sog. "backshift" machen, also immer um eine Zeitstufe zurückgehen:
Anne said that her boss had shouted at her today.

(Ich mache mal diese Variante, damit das klarer wird^^)

1.Ann: " The boss shouted at me today."

Anne said that her boss had shouted at her today.

2 . ....." She was angry about my phone calls to you."

She said that she had been angry about her phone calls to him/her (you?).

3. ....." I don´t get on with the other shop assistants."

She said that she didn't get on (normally: "along"...) with the other shop assistants.

4. ......" I´ve got to work until 8 o´clock on Fridays!"

She said that she had got to work until 8 o'clock on Fridays.

5........" I can´t live on just 3$ an hour!"

She said that she couldn't live on with just 3$ an hour.

6........" I´ll have to work trough July and August."

She said that she'd (would) have to work through July and August.

7........"My office hasn´t got any windows"

She said that her office hadn't got any windows.

8........" The cafeteria meals are too expensive."

She said that the cafeteria meals are too expensive.

Wenn die Zeit schon im Past Perfect (ex: had made) ist, dann braucht man keinen Backshift mehr machen (geht auch gar nicht mehr^^)
"will" "can" usw. wird zu "would" und "could"
