  • Example: It is his way (to rebel against his parents). Why do you keep (to look at the clock)?
    Solution: It is his way of rebelling against his parents. Why do you keep looking at the clock.

    1. Do you enjoy (to walk in the rain)
    Lösung: Do you enjoy of walking in the rain ?

    2. The children soon got tired (to sit still and listen)
    Lösung: The children soon got tired of sitting still und listening ?

    3. They won't prevent me (to go to Africa)
    Lösung: They won't prevent me of going ..... ? bitte Hilfe!

    4. What's the use (to go to university)
    Lösung: What's the use of going to university?

    5. Would you mind (to close the door)
    Lösung: Would you mind of closing the door ?

    6. Susan is looking forward (to earn money)
    Lösung: Susan is looking forward of earning money ?

    Lösung: Do you enjoy walking in the rain. => to enjoy doing sth.

    Lösung: Would you mind closing the door? => to mind doing sth.


    6. Susan is looking forward (to earn money)
    Lösung: Susan is looking forward to earning money. => looking forward to doing sth.

  • kannst du das bitte noch mal als ganzen satz schreiben, ich verstehe das jetzt nicht gany was du mit sth und sb immer meinst :D

  • was ich hinter die Pfeile geschrieben habe, sind die Ausgangsformen der Verben, wie man sie am besten lernt:
    to prevent sb. from doing sth. = jemanden davon abhalten etwas zu tun
    mind doing sth. = ausmachen etwas zu tun
    looking forward to doing sth. = sich darauf freuen, etwas zu tun

  • Okay aber ich weiß jetzt trotzdem nicht ganz wo meine Fehler liegen, dass hat mich etwas irritiert. Da du bei einigen Sätzen einen smiley gesetzt hast :d gilt das als richtig oder falsch.
