My name is Sophie and I visit the 11th grade in a public school in Düsseldorf.
I think it is very important to support local food producers, because it helps the environment, if the products don't need to be transported all around the world. In addition to that it helps the local producers that have a very high competition beause of the Globalization.
I used to buy products I like without paying attantion to the place of origin, but now I am trying to only buy food that was produced in Germany and even better in my region. I think is all consumers would act like this, we could solve a lot of enviromenal problems in the world.
